FITNESS AND MODELING EXPO EVENT

FAME FIGURE SYMMETRY & POSING ROUNDS

POSING ROUND (1/3 of score):

The head judge will instruct the group to execute a series of mandatory poses. The following poses can be included in the judging:

Front Double Biceps
Abdominal & Thigh
Abdominal & Serratus
Side Tricep
Side Chest
Back Double Biceps

After the initial comparisons are complete the head judge may shift the position of the competitors to conduct additional comparisons.

Judging:
In this round the judges are looking at the size of the muscle (in relation to your skeletal structure), shape, hardness, separations, tone, and definition. They are also looking at how you perform the poses, how well they are executed, & at your attitude & confidence on stage.

Judges do not want to see over muscularity and excessive striation, as this is more suitable for bodybuilding, and can cause athletes to lose points.

The judges do not grant points based on what they see as your potential so be sure to practice executing your poses properly.  Meaning, you may well have the best physique on stage, but if you can't display it properly, you will not do as well as you could have.

Posedown:
All athletes will participate in a posedown which is meant to be a fun way to show the audience and judges that you're the best & having a blast being on stage!

Specific Rules:
Athletes must wear high heels.
All poses must be done open handed - ie. with out clenching your fists.

SYMMETRY ROUND (1/3 of score):

In this round judges are looking at your body symmetry & proportion, your muscle definition & then at your muscle density.

Symmetry refers to the structural harmony of the physique relative to the size of various body parts and DOES NOT refer to muscle mass. A well balanced, proportional physique in its entirety when viewed from all sides.

Definition refers to the separations between individual muscles and muscle groups and the striations within a muscle or muscle group.

Density refers to the overall size and thickness of the muscle or muscle group

Essentially, the judges evaluate your physique to ensure there is proper proportion with your musculature development. They compare upper body to lower body, front to back, and various muscles against each other.
The head judge will instruct the group to execute a series of quarter turns to the right allowing the judges to view them from the front, left side, back and right side before returning to the front position.

The judges do not grant points based on potential so be sure to stand properly and hold your semi-relaxed stance at all times.

This round is also performed in high heels.

Scoring:
Athletes are directly compared against each other for both the Symmetry & Posing Rounds. Each judge ranks the athletes from best to worst. All scores are then added up, with the lowest number being the top score.

Tie Scores
In the event of a tie, the highest and lowest score is dropped. If this still results in a tie, the Head Judge may call those athletes back on stage for a final comparison round. If it is still questionable, the Head Judge may pose a question to the competitor as a bonus round to settle the tie breaker.
