Ironpinoy.com is conceived in 1998. It originally started as a yahoogroup and on 2000 it is a full-blown website. It is conceived, built and maintained by Bong Pico. Originally it has a forum and chatroom. It was new back then and the fitness industry was in a slump. It was conceived after Eumorpho Lakas-tao by Gery Geronimo which ended its telecast in 1997. Filling up the void for information with regard to the fitness industry, Ironpinoy.com is born. Ideally it is made for beginners to have a life in fitness.

Ironpinoy.com started with forums, galleries, yahoogroups, chatroom, database of gym and events, tips, instructionals. In 2001, Ironpinoy.com staged Musclemania Philippines under license from American Sports Network TV. Musclemania 2001-2003 is one of the most anticipated amateur events in the country. We offer competitions abroad and have produced world-class athletes in the process. In 2002, the Ironpinoy Magazine was released. In 2009, we re-released the Ironpinoy Magazine, an industry standard Fitness, Bodybuilding and strength magazine geared for the Filipino Market (local and international). The release of the Ironpinoy Magazine is greatly anticipated by the Fitness and Bodybuilding community. Ironpinoy Magazine is one of the Press Media for the Olympia 2009, Las Vegas and Arnolds Sports and Fitness Expo 2010 in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Ironpinoy Magazine was also the Media partner for the 2009 Asia Fitness Convention in Bangkok, Thailand. Ironpinoy Magazine is sold in the USA, Canada, and UK through the Magcloud distribution network and also sold as an E-mag at the online shop of Ironpinoy.com.

In 2006, World Natural Sports Organization and Bodyproud.org, partnered with Ironpinoy.com. WNSO is one of the biggest promoter of natural bodybuilding and fitness modeling in North and South America. Ironpinoy.com is sanctioned to stage the Fitness and Modeling Expo (FAME) Philippines. In 2009, FAME was staged on March 24 at the SM Mall of Asia and in Music Museum on April 24, 2010. Winners from FAME will have a career in Fitness modeling and Bodybuilding, creating more income opportunities in the local and international scene. Winners from this Philippine regional event will go on to compete in FAME World Finals. Again competing the best in the World fitness industry.

Ironpinoy.com is an industry leader and is a model for different ideas in promotions and events in the Philippines. With this, the main focus of Ironpinoy.com is to help and promote the industry. Creating opportunities for the fitness enthusiasts, bodybuilders, fitness models, personal trainer, gym owners, apparel, supplement suppliers, sports suppliers and others related to the industry. Ironpinoy.com is the first to post event galleries and event videos of past events.

Ironpinoy.com is recognized by the local and international organizations. Ironpinoy.com has helped and is still supporting most of these local organizations. Ironpinoy.com supports non-profit organization by donating time and expertise. In view of this we enjoin everybody to donate to help us increase awareness on several issues plaguing the Fitness industry and promote the Fitness industry to local and international audience. We also support natural athletes and drug testing. We support organizations such as the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), Drug Free Sports Association (DFSA) and Australasian Natural Bodybuilding.
